This is the "YKK Group Supplier Reporting Contact Point" entrusted by the YKK Group to D-Quest, Inc. Stakeholders (Business Partners, NGO etc.) can consult and report on misconduct, violation of laws and regulations, and human rights infringements committed by the Group's executives and employees. The details of the consultation/report will be shared to the YKK Group by D-Quest Corporation, and the YKK Group's staff will investigate the matter.

*YKK Group refers to the corporate group formed by YKK Corporation (YKK), YKK AP Corporation (YKK AP) and their subsidiaries.

The administrative office will proceed with the investigation by communicating with the reporter through this system. If the report content is insufficient or if there is no response to the administrative office’s inquiries, the investigation may not be conducted. To ensure you can check communications from the administrative office, please be sure to record the "PIN" and "Report Number" displayed when registering the report, and register an email address for receiving notifications from the office. ・Suppliers to the YKK Group, including their directors and employees (permanent employees, temporary employees, etc.) .
・Other stakeholders, such as NGOs

YKK Group employees should use the internal reporting hotline. If the administrative office cannot contact the employees who submitted the reports, the administrative office may decide on actions such as conducting or not conducting an investigation, or forwarding the report to the respective YKK company’s reporting hotline, without the informant's consent.

Acts in violation of laws and regulations, human rights violations, or other non-compliance by officers or employees of the YKK Group
(Examples)

  • Fraud, violation of laws and regulations (kickbacks, fictitious claims, falsification of documents, requests for improper entertainment/gifts, transactions suspected of money laundering, etc.)
  • Human rights violations, discrimination, or harassment (including harassment by taking advantage of one's position, etc.) that are suspected violations in relation to business and human rights issues.
  • Human right violations in the supply chain

[Investigation and protection of reporters]

  • The contents of consultations and reports will be used only to the extent necessary for investigation and response, and will not be used for any other purpose, and will be kept strictly confidential.
  • We will not treat a business partner in a disadvantageous manner because of the fact that the business partner reported the matter to this contact point.
  • The YKK Group will investigate the matter that is the subject of the report and correct any violations that may have occurred.

In principle, we ask that you identify your name and company name when contacting us for consultation or reporting, in order to ensure that we can contact you regarding the report and conduct a fair and impartial investigation. Please note that we cannot accept anonymous reports, as it is difficult to confirm the facts and respond to such reports.

Please describe as much as possible about "when, where, who, whom, what, how, and what happened" in the form that can be accessed from this page.

As a rule, we will not confirm any facts that the consulting party/reporter does not wish to be confirmed. However, if the content of the consultation or report is in the public interest, for example, if it is in violation of laws and regulations, or if the content of the consultation or report is important to the YKK Group, we may confirm the facts without obtaining the consent of the person consulting or reporting the matter.

In order to confirm the facts, we may ask you to provide us with various materials. Please be aware that we may not be able to investigate or take corrective measures in cases where the informant or reporter does not provide us with materials or evidence, and we are unable to confirm the facts. Please also understand that we may not always be able to respond to the results of our investigation of a consultation or report, and that we may not be able to respond to inquiries made at a later date.
